Hello! Thank you for visiting my adopt page! These guys will belong to a pack I am creating known as the Tianlong Dynasty. Below is some basic information about their age, imagined personality, and a short blurb of how my character, Emperor Shēnléi, views them.

Please note: I will be strict with these characters and their designs. I spent a pretty penny on them all and intend to buy them more art. Because of this, I have a strict TOS in place to protect you as a potential adopter and myself. Please understand this when applying.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1. COMMUNICATION IS KEY — Please understand that real life happens, and if you start to fall behind, please reach out to me so I know what’s going on. Inactivity doesn’t immediately always mean losing the character; I just have to be aware of what’s going on to give you the proper grace you need.

2. While they do not have to be your main character, I ask that they be semi-active and interact with the others. Inactivity will result in the character being reclaimed. A minimum of 2 posts per month is required to meet the semi activity requirement unless you are on leave and I’ve been informed.

3. Before reclaiming a character, I will attempt to contact you three (3) separate times through discord and on the forum. If there’s no response, the character will be reclaimed on the fourth (4) attempt. Again, communication is key!

4. If you are on hiatus for over three (3) months without communication, I reserve the right to reclaim and rehome the character at my discretion.

5. If you are on hiatus for over six (6) months, even with communication, I reserve the right to reclaim and rehome the character at my discretion.

6. These characters (and their designs) remain the property of myself (Devi) unless specific clauses below are met:

• 6-a. If you reach 60 posts, you have permission to use the character on Vivarium Only. You do not own the design/character If you become inactive, I reserve the right to reclaim the character and rehome it at my discretion.

• 6-b. If you reach 100 posts, you may have—provided we have discussed this—permission to use the design off Vivarium, so long as the backstory, personality, name, and history of the character don’t change. You do not own the design/character If you become inactive, I reserve the right to reclaim the character at my discretion and rehome it.

• 6-c. If you reach 150 posts, I will reach out to you (or you can reach out to me) about possibly co-owning the design and character. You will pay half of the monetary value of the design and have full co-ownership rights. Please keep the history, name, and character the same should you move the character off Vivarium. More details about co-ownership will be discussed in a separate contract. If you do not wish to co-own, I will proceed with continuing to “rent/loan” the character to you. Should you fall inactive and paid for co-ownership, the character will be presumed dead during your absence, either indefinitely or for an extended leave. Co-ownership grants you equal creative rights for use and portrayal of the character, but not the right to resell, redesign, or redistribute the design without mutual consent or allowing me to buy out your half.

7. Do not apply for this adopt if you plan to immediately have them die, run away, be kidnapped, have a complete personality switch, or get amnesia. If you follow one of these paths in an inorganic manner or too soon, this adopt will be revoked from the player. ‘Too soon’ is considered to be 1 year after receiving the adopt. These actions are permitted only after one (1) full year of active play and must feel organic to the character’s development. Any early or abrupt deviation may result in the adopt being revoked.

8. Please communicate! Should you, the adopter, feel stuck, struggling with muse, or need help in some way, reach out to me! I will help you and do everything in my power to assist you in getting out of your rut. If we both decide it’s best to return the character, that’s perfectly fine — there’s no shame in it, and it helps keep the character’s story alive for others to continue and enjoy.

9. Do not modify, resell, or redistribute the design without explicit permission.

10. Minor aesthetic edits (such as scars, accessories, or minor tweaks) are allowed only with prior approval.

Born:06/21/2024. Presumably died at six months old. What age he comes in at is completely up to you! Mythris is a fun mystical world after all!

His original personality and history: A feisty do-gooder following his dad’s every footsteps. The feral natures of his mother did not touch him as they did his siblings. All big-toothed smiles with a need to protect as his Kingsguard father, chosen of former Pharaoh Rashepses, did.

He was too young to remember when his mother grew detached from them, and he would never know that his birth was the result of an unfortunate contract and not love. But he would remember the palace life of Akashingo and the great political power they held. He would remember being raised alongside Princess and Prince , knowing that one day he would guard them as his father guarded the king. Mesen-Ka promised that one day, should he keep his dream and fight for it, it would be true.

Dreams of becoming a royal guard and nights of sparring with his beloved father was crushed the day the tunnels collapsed on them all.

Mesen-ka, Taliba, and Ibrahim came out the other side into what they perceived as an afterlife: the field of reeds.

It was only that Aiman never rose from the ground. Mesen-ka grieves each day for his son.

You can: Decide what his personality is now, how he comes into site, if he died during the first death of Akashingo, and what he’s been up to if he didn’t. You can make some changes to the design as well! You could also adopt him out or sell once he is yours, but I would appreciate a heads up:)

The only set rule is that he is not officially yours until 20 posts, but I am highly unlikely to ask for him back before then unless you drop him for, like, months. ❤️

The Amulet

While Thornhaven is by no means intended to be an ‘evil’ group, they are not strictly morally good. Plots involving indentured servitude/slavery, kidnapping, violence, and more may be present.

The Amulet have been a part of Thornhaven far longer than anyone can remember, guiding the pack from the sometimes-comfortable, sometimes-deadly seat of power within the Autumn Court. The Amulet have wielded rarely-contested power within the Autumn Court for generations upon generations. They are a clan of silver-tongued and sharp-fanged snakes, lurking in the shifting shadows of the twilight of seasons to pull the strings of fate to their favor.

Amulet generally consider themselves to be intrinsically bound to Thornhaven, and take their duty to participate in the betterment of the whole seriously. However, they also tend to encourage a strong loyalty to Amulet kin and Amulet interests above all. As one can probably guess, raising generations of spies and diplomats has made the Amulet family, although powerful, extremely prone to double or triple-crossing one another in pursuit of power or other goals. The family has also occupied a pseudo-royal role in the pack for generations, meaning that there is a culture of arranged, political marriages. Marrying for love is a childish notion meant for wolves who do not have the wonderful luck to be born an Amulet, is the general teaching. As a rule, an Amulet is encouraged to do whatever serves the Autumn Court, as long as that action will not incite a scandal (or can be covered up successfully.)

Of course, not all Amulet ascribe to all of these teachings, and all of them have unique perspectives on their familial heritage.

The current Monarch of the Autumn Court, and head of the Amulet family, is Harvest.

APPEARANCES
Amulet can come in any number of colors and patterns. Autumnal colors, including dark browns, purple hues, tan, orange, gold and more are all common but not required. Affairs, as long as they are not discovered and ESPECIALLY not flaunted, are permitted but Amulet are traditionally encouraged to avoid having children until they are wed - this way, all of the pups can be technically claimed to be of upstanding heritage.

A key feature common amongst Amulet are distinctive and plentiful face marks, often including geometric but natural shapes like rough diamonds, flecks and blazes. They tend to stand tall and slender, like many Autumn wolves, but genetic variation is plentiful amongst the clan.

Hex Nightstar Amulet

Harvest's litter-sister, Hex is a responsible and mature young woman who has long and contentedly occupied the role of Harvest's right-hand. She is typically soft-spoken and reserved. Much of her family sees her as a rebel, as she eloped with a Summer woman before any efforts could be made to find her an arranged match. She regrets nothing, and is head-over-heels for her wife, Marlow. They have two adoptive children. Hex prefers to avoid the more sleazy and overtly manipulative aspects of her Court and family - she advises Harvest, tells the stories he needs her to, and tries to enjoy a simpler life. Her talent as a Weaver and familial connections often make this difficult.

Odysseus Orchard Amulet
1.5 yrs - nb or male - unmarried - diplomat
Odysseus is one of the babies of the family, and it shows - They use their cheerful, sunshine-y personality to charm their way into trouble and back out with little care for consequence. They are impulsive and energetic, a warm-souled contrast to the hair-trigger temper of their littermate, but generally a source of either frustration or disappointment for their family. Ody is trained to be a diplomat but seems to have picked up few of the Amulet's usual conniving, cutthroat ways. This is only partly true - Odysseus is young, and naïve, but just as clever as the rest of their family. Growing up the younger sibling to the Monarch and one of the most talented Weavers in the Court has made Odysseus insecure of their value to the family, resulting in an effort to be a warm cup of ginger tea during the cold dismay that, these days, frequently flurries through their ranks.

Revna - The Dark Valkyrie

TW for abusive relationships

Revna and Ragnhildr have history, a history that Ragnhildr doesn't properly remember and Revna remembers every time. This is not the first time she's taken on a mortal form to make them hers, but it will be the last. Revna is the dark Valkyrie that serves Odin, and she has claimed Ragnhildr's soul in every iteration. She can speak their names, all of them, because down to the last, they are hers.

She will likely not join PD, and this relationship isn't super healthy. Toxic Yuri is the goal of this, so things can get a little nasty. She is aware that Ragnhildr is the sort to give and give and give, and she is more than willing to take advantage of that. Moreover, she places little value in mortal life, and Ragnhildr's only special by virtue of being hers. She is also not required to be completely loyal to Ragnhildr, since she sees Ragnhildr's interest in other mortals as an implicit openness in the relationship and will hold that over their head. She includes their past lives in this.

I am thinking Revna is a vivacious sort, temperamental but also full of life and charismatic. (I might be pulling some inspiration from Lestat de Lioncourt? But you can pull from any vibes you want.) She can be empathetic when she truly cares for someone, and she does truly love Ragnhildr. But she's also possessive and moody. Other than that, she can have other depths.

She is loyal to Odin, and thus would be opposed to Freya. Her goal is to get Ragnhildr back on Odin's side. My main desire is that she 1) thread frequently with Ragnhildr; 2) be alive until Ragnhildr dies. After Ragnhildr goes, whatever happens to her is up in the air. She's allowed to join other packs and form connections with other mortals. I will take back this adopt if I feel we are not threading enough together, or if she falls inactive before Ragnhildr dies. She is fully yours forever once Ragnhildr bites it. I am open to changing these conditions if organic development happens during the course of the plot.

Since Ragnhildr doesn't remember everything, I'm allowing you to make up stuff they did in past lives. Run it past me, of course, but odds are I probably won't say no.

I can provide a design, or you can use your own design. I have several designs I'm willing to part with for this plot. You may also change her name. If you're interested, please DM me with your basic ideas.

The Royal Bastians of Arbonne

My current hyperfixation, a catch-all receptacle for my period drama obsession: the family & friends & other characters in the story of ! The Bastian family is a part of the larger Meraki Concord universe, where The Bastian family sits at the helm of the kingdom of Arbonne. The Bastians are inspired by French royal court, but they function more like Game of Thrones. Definite Gossip Girl elements, constant scheming, always at war or rebellion. Imogen herself has the heart of Anne Boleyn (the natalie dormer version, of course) but with the soul of Marie Antoinette, with a little bit of Eloise Bridgerton added in for spice. This world is whatever you want it to be as long as it's ~fancy~.

One by one, each family member has been spirited away to the realm of Vivarium. These characters would come in already knowing many of the characters involved in the Meraki Concord (especially and ), and you're free to come up with their own backstory/interpersonal relationships/perspectives! The only thing that is concrete are people's titles and blooded family tree. They speak french and fully embody the French je ne sais quoi. I fully support these being their own full-fledged characters with their own thoughts, feelings, plots and relationships. Come play tea party with me :)

Born a princess of house Bastian, the birth of Elspeth also brought the death of their mother, who had been advanced in age and wisdom at such a point in their lives. Imogen and Emilé were 10 and 11 years older than her, respectively, and often left their little sister out of the loops on matters of the family's kingdom. Imogen raised her somewhat to be an airhead, far too preoccupied with fashion and fêtes to be able to notice the things happening around her; someone who she can manipulate at will. In some ways, Imogen considers it retribution for being the thing that killed their mother.

Emilé is Imogen's brother, co-conspirator, and partner in crime. They have long-since considered themselves the leaders of the Bastian kingdom, once their mother had died and their kingdom fell into war. Together, they poisoned their father and took charge of governing, effectively switching alliances and turning the tide of war. Afterwards, Emilé (once a Bastian Prince) became a Duke of the Maçon Kingdon, serving beside his great friend and King . The war had left the Bastian family penniless, so Imogen went on to marry Jacque Delacroix, as a way to have open access the coffers of the the richest family in all of the kingdoms. Since Emilé resides at Highspire and Imogen moved to the Capitol with Jacque, it has been quite a long time since the siblings had seen one another.

Jacque is not as bad as his young, vivacious wife Imogen believes him to be. She believes him old; but he believes himself experienced. She sees nothing but money signs, Jacques sees decades of hard word and sound investments. He is the one who has lined the safes of the family, guiding their political and business advancements since he was taken to ward and instructed how to conduct himself, at a very young age. His entire mind is strategic and he is led by a deep desire to mitigate his own anxieties, possibly from his destitute babyhood and knowing just how close he had been to being born a peasant. Jacque has many micro-interests, such as: insect collecting, dog breeding, and being a polyglot. Though he was pleased to have been married off to Imogen, who is young and vivacious and desirable, but her apparent repulsion of him has meant that they never grew close.

Rosalie isn't evil per se, but she is motivated mostly by her desire to further her own station. Rosalie was the third to Imogen and Emilé, plotting away at night in the candle-lit darkness of their rooms; but she is using them as much as they use her, using her quiet expertise of the castle to find political arrangements that are mutually beneficial. She is a sly and under-handed servant, whereas Ser Vasco is more dutiful, driven by promises. Born a bastard, she is efficient, capable, sharp, and intelligent. She had found herself on the royal court not by mere incidence, but by sheer will and intention. Imogen and Rosalie would often call themselves best friends and spiritual sisters, as long as it suited them.

Relations & Brief History

Cloudiér is a man of oath and honor. A man brought up from low standing, he had lucked into a position as a squire at a young age -- from there, his upwards trajectory landed him as right hand man to Imogen and Emilé of house Bastian. His entire mind, heart and personality is dedicated to his knighthood, and to those in power that had risen him up and made him something. He is the feet to Imogen's mind, the hands that do the deeds that Emilé's mouth speaks. He understands the in's and the out's of the kingdom, and does his best to advise well, thought his knowledge does not oft extend far beyond that of combat, opponents, and war strategy. Women are a foreign subject, although he did bond quite fiercely with Elspeth after Imogen's disappearance.

Les Annales des Bastiens

Imogen and her brother Emilé were born prince and princess to the Bastian Kingdom. The kingdom itself had been under steady rule for over two hundred years, proud bannermen of the neighboring Châtirral Kingdom. Imogen grew up as best friends with Annelise, often living with each other for long spans of time within each other's court, and learning's different ways of propriety. They wanted for nothing, and had the best of anything. Fancy balls and grandiose shared banquets were customary. Insecurity and instability were unknown words to them. As young children and teenager they took little interest in the problems of the commonfolk, preferring to keep their connections within the court itself, but that was soon to change.

When the Châtirral Kingdom went to war with the Maçons, the Bastians were mobilized against their common enemy. Thus Imogen began living through a wartime experience, with all of the life changes that accompany such. She began attempts at advocacy for those she deemed innocent, but became derailed around the time Annelise was due to wed the Maçon prince Arzhel in an attempt to resolve the feud, and suspiciously disappeared. Châtirral easy placed blame upon the Maçons, and the war grew stronger instead of softer, culminating with the Châtirrals assassinating the Maçon King in cold blood.

So shocked by this was Imogen that she and her brother Emilé appealed to Arzhel (now King of the Maçons) out of fear that the Châtirrals would demolish both of their kingdoms in an attempt to find their lost Princess. Find Annelise they never would, Imogen proclaimed, for she had been privy to Annelise's secret life as a war medic, and was fairly certain her best friend had been killed in the line of duty. When Imogen's father refused to betray the Châtirrals and end a century-long allyship, she and Emile and her Handmaiden Rosalie colluded to have the Bastian king poisoned, and for alliances to officially change hands when Emile married Arzhel's older sister.

Together, the Bastians and the Maçons decimated the Châtirral Kingdom. However, they had experienced financial ruin in the process. While Arzhel and Emilé attempted to govern the new state, Imogen sought to solve their monetary affairs by wedding herself to and Earl, who had built his fortune and status as a foremost advisor to the ruling kingdoms. However, life grew sour and boring as the vestiges of war and treachery faded away, and Imogen sought to pass her time as a trophy and housewife to an older man. Now reborn as a wolf, Imogen intends not to let her second change at an extraordinary life slip away away.

I'll likely keep these adoptions open anywhere from a couple week to a couple months, depending on what is received <3

They does not need to be your main character but i would love to see some element of activity with them! if you go inactive for a certain amount of time, i have the right to reclaim the character and all that comes with him, so long as they remain under 100 posts. after a 100 posts, they are fully owned by the adopter and it will be your choice if you return him to me should the need arise. Timeline for Litters

Vivarium holds a rather unique system when it comes to those under a year. To help reduce some timeline that comes with playing children and the long-wait between, there is a system in place where those under a year are growing 2x speed, and grow on a stalemate until officially, on their birthday. So with every month, their body and mind develops for two months. We understand this can be generally confusing for some people, so we are now offering a a timeline to help parents and their litters.

Below will be a post specifically for each litter and their general timeline as well as dates provided to when they age!

ParentPlayer and ParentPlayer / Creator reserve the right to reclaim the character should the player go inactive for a certain amount of time or repeat neglectful behaviour. (Note: this is accurate so long as the character is under 60 posts. If the character exceeds 60 posts but meets inactive criteria, please first ask the player if you can reclaim. If you need further help, contact a member of staff.)
The character is not allowed to be used on other Roleplay websites unless permission is given. (Be realistic, though. If someone successfully plays the character, for example, a year... (successfully means multiple posts/threads) then the character would realistically be theirs.)
Death is always an interesting plot but please do not adopt the character just to kill them relatively soon.
If you lose muse for the character, please open communication with ParentPlayer and ParentPlayer / Creator so we can discuss and possibly reclaim the character.
