He finally settled and she allowed herself to as well. Placing her one white paw down gently.
She could see him working for an answer and this she appreciated. Be ause all to often words were only surface level. She preferred that depth.
She didn't know if she would like this pack or not. But it was not ideal to be alone.

Yaalk'ali did not know if this woman would work well in Saatsine or not. She looked to delicate, so frail, yet perhaps there was hidden strength within her. After all, Yaalk'ali was far smaller then many men within the bands, yet he was quick and quick witted. He did not bull rush into things and get injured, causing one to be left behind. Maybe she could keep up too. Maybe not. It was the chieftan to decide, yet it be another possible member of Saatsine which Yaalk'ali brought to Kusax̱asaa so he is well rewarded for his efforts.
We no healer.Then again, unless it was a wound she could easily patch up and that wolf can take to marching again soon, healing wouldn't do much good. He kept that to himself, of course.

Goldy was delicate and slightly small. But she had found that this only made wolves underestimate her. And this was not a bad thing always. It meant she could surprise them. She had inner wells of strength that she carried, even if she didn't share it with the world. She had been on her own for the larger part of her adult life. She was a fair hunter, a darn good healer, and walking did not scare her.
Goldblossom looked at this fox wolf. She did not know if she would fit into their pack. But she knew winter was coming. She needed one. So she dipped her head. Well I can try, yes?
She could not imagine not needing a healer. Everyone got sick now and again. And wounds were important to be fixed before anything else happened or it worsened. She could do this. She also was a midwife, if there were puppies coming, as all healthy packs had. She could help there too.
I am also a midwife. I can help mothers with their babies.

Try. Yes.He wore a Cheshire cat grin as he looked to her. Simple in looks. Calm and soft demeanor. Yet she healed and, as it were, had played the roll of midwife just as well. Yaalk'ali ears perked, a sign of interest.
Have litters with cows.
He didnt know if that sounded right. But they did well to align their birthing when the caribou calved and did not travel for five weeks during this time. There were many women within Saatsine. Many which had left their natal packs for another band and a suitable bachelor to lay their roots with. Having this woman could be handy.
