ooc: set during Avons festival
It was difficult to say the least, to stay behind while the majority of their offspring toddles off behind Golde into a place he didn't know with wolves he didn't know either. But he had to put his feelings aside and trust that their mother would not allow any harm to befall their little ones. Besides, not all of them wanted to go ─ Hexx included. It was reassuring at least, to know that the territory was neighboring and should they not return when promised he could easily reach them.
God help the residents of Avon if a single hair on any of his childrens - or Golde's head be out of place.
Uncertainty lived in his chest as he rose, empty silver eyes casting over those that decided to stay behind with him. Grey snout would come down, roughly nudging Alric ❝ It's time to get up. ❞ he rumbled plainly. ❝ Get your brothers too, ❞ he mused, a gentle command. Perhaps they would all go on patrol today and keep themselves occupied. At least; as far as their little legs could carry them before they tired.

Things were, in fact, difficult. While it was easy for the middle child to fact, find sleep - remaining asleep throughout the course of the entire night? A fever dream.
And it wasn’t because he was afraid of everything out there, but more so because everything out there was just so loud that it woke him from his slumber, so much so that he often got up in the middle of the night to scream back at them.
Bork bork bork!
So when he heard the rumblings of his father, Raizel didn’t need much convincing to get up, after all. His blue eyes finding his father with the twitch of his nose and the thump of tail against the ground.
And it wasn’t because he was afraid of everything out there, but more so because everything out there was just so loud that it woke him from his slumber, so much so that he often got up in the middle of the night to scream back at them.

Tell the world to be quiet, Father. It’s naptime.Raizel grumbled, throwing his paws over his ears with a growl, though he couldnt help but to think about how relaxing it would be without so many siblings around all at once.

Dreams were harder and harder to come by these days. With the departure of half his family from their home, it was hard to stay relatively calm and peaceful within his mind. So when his father's voice reached him, attempting to wake him from his slumber, the boy readily obliged. Alric followed Hexx as if he was an idol, keeping close so that he may be in his divine protection.
What are we going to do today?A question to his father that was an attempt to distract his fast working mind.
The sight of his obsidian brother calmed him somewhat. Raizel always seemed to be on side of logic and reason then the others, seemingly taking after their father. But there was a coldness to him that Alric wasn't quite sure of yet. At least that's how it seemed to such a young pup. In any case, the pup split of sunshine and darkness kept close. An ear flicked at his brother's comment.
When's Momma coming back, Papa?Oh how he hated them being apart. He missed them so.

He grumbled as sleep stung his eyes, all he wanted to do was slumber especially with half the family missing. He pushed his dark paws into Raizel using him as an anchor to roll himself over and huff, covering his face with one leg. He stayed there for a while, before forcing himself up into a lazy half slumped sit. "Tell the world to be quiet, Father. It’s naptime." ❝ Naps are for babies. ❞ he rumbled, groggily making himself get up and move even though the tops of his toes drug against the dirt.
He let it hold him back only until the sun found his face. Golden eyes squinted against it before shaking his head trying to free the sleep from his body, quickening it at his fathers hard stare.
"What are we going to do today?" he came up beside Alric, sitting down "When's Momma coming back, Papa?" he huffed, looking back up to Hexx expectantly.
