each day did seutonius travel further, arm knitting as good food and consistent rest had their way. he admitted that the rugged looks of the alpine realm was pleasant to his eye, even if the cold reached down deep into aching bones.
it was on one such day that the roman took himself down to stream, descending several rocky slopes to get there. he was winded and panting by the end, but the taste of sweet cold water was as good a reward as any he might have wanted.
