And like sparks in the dark Life was suddenly thrilling and new - Raisa - 11/8/2025 Backdated to ~4th, looking for Wardruna though its up to you how well they actually know each other, I left it vague xD
The first thing Raisa made note of was the apparent lack of Persephone's scent altogether and Arvid's faded one as she approached the borders. What was happening to the leaders around here?! Sure, she hadn't been to see anyone since the tourney and its resulting party, and that was... most of the year ago, now, she supposed with surprise. It had been about a year now since she first came to the mountain to secure an alliance, spent two weeks here in helping care for and assist the northerners. Two weeks, she'd spent here! She had spent time scouring the tundra's reaches, bringing back prey to fill the bellies of the grieving, she'd been present at the meeting in which Ragnar was pronounced found. When did she lose that spark to carry the world upon her shoulders? As the Monarch properly approached the borders, bewilderment plain on her features, she realized a great number of the members which once padded Northfall were no longer. There were many new smells, but just enough that tickled her memory to not make her believe it was another pack altogether. She tipped her head back and howled for... well, anyone, ideally whoever was in charge. RE: And like sparks in the dark Life was suddenly thrilling and new - Wardruna - 11/11/2025 Wardruna's knowledge of Seiiki is very limited. She would remember seeing Raisa from her time visiting here (hell I didnt remember tho!) but that's about it. Arvid never mentioned anything icly about Raisa or Seiiki specifically I don't think!
skill: expert ranger Wardruna felt.... good. Better. The past year for the Stormborn family and Northfall as a whole had not been an easy one. A well needed respite has been due from all the death, plagues and wrath of gods and spirits around them. Yet since "finding" her gods again, she felt the tides were changing. Prayed that they were. Even with Arvid gone. Even Sheauga. Wardruna walked the borders with an ease. One which she had not felt in quite some time. She followed the call of a voice she didnt quite remember but upon seeing her as she drew nearer, Wardruna remembered this woman. She had visited during a tournament (as many did) and had stayed a while in the same manner Elysium often did. How could Wardruna forget such a uniquely pelted woman? She came from a land once ruled by tigers. Although Wardruna couldnt recall seeing nor smelling the many which once had been on her travels. Were there any left? Was Seiiki a shell of what it once had been, as well? Hello to you!Heavy steps drew the large woman nearer. Ahh, forgive me, I don't recall your name....?After all, they never really spoke to one another before. RE: And like sparks in the dark Life was suddenly thrilling and new - Raisa - 12/5/2025 Raisa recognized Wardruna in the same way she herself was; fleetingly, picturing her at the tourney, sure Arvid had nodded to her at some point to denote her importance but not remembering why or how. A council or family member, no doubt, she couldn't recall. Had she even listened? She'd met so, so many people between the search for Ragnar and the tourney, and she probably couldn't mention a single name she'd picked up.
She still remembered getting her ass handed to her, though. The woman was polite, greeting her easily with the admittance that she didn't remember who Raisa was. The Monarch just smiled. Raisa, Sovereign of Seiiki, an ally, she rumbled back with a wag of her tail, I'm a friend of Arvid's, particularly. What... has happened, here? Sure, it'd been a while since she'd been up this far, but why was Arvid's scent completely gone? What had happened to Northfall? She felt a sadness she didn't really understand, worrying for her friends kingdom. Northfall had been an ally to her family for her entire life, at least -- she wasn't terribly well-traveled, but she knew what a spot such low numbers put a pack in. Personally.... Hm. RE: And like sparks in the dark Life was suddenly thrilling and new - Wardruna - 12/9/2025 Ally. And ally which the Queen knew nothing of, so could they still be called such, then? Wardruna would not allow her ignorance to this become obvious on her features. If Arvid had mentioned anything alliance with Seiiki, the once Sem’ya, Wardruna was none the wiser. Of course, even Sem’ya's establishment of alliance had become strained when the arrogance of men had become hot. After their king had completely forgotten who he was (due to having died, apparently) there had not been much interaction between the two groups. Something which Arvid had meant to amend, apparently. Raisa, it is good to have a name to the face then. She admits her knowledge of her, if not knowing her personally. I am Arvid's sister, Wardruna. He -She takes a heavy breath, olive eyes casting around as though perhaps speaking his name allowed might bring his return. Alas, Arvid has been missing for quite some time now. His littermate, Journey, scouts the tundra for him still. |
