Pangur strolls across the frigid shoreline, debating the merits of fishing up her dinner from those cold depths, but making up her mind not to rather quickly upon dipping a digit into the icy water, so the look on her face was rather priceless when she saw a man floundering about in the middle of the shallows, looking lost as he clung to his boulder and searched his surroundings. Perhaps the tide swept him out? Then again, she hadn't seen another by the water from the hills she crossed earlier...

She quickened her steps and brought herself to the edge of the shore. Ah... You do not need rescue do you? She calls out, dreading the plunge, but willing to make it if he needed her help, for what else was a Pangur to do in the world but help others? It seemed her path lead her here more often than not, and it made her heart flutter, to know that the gods trusted her so.

Perhaps it might have been wiser to wait for an answer first, but Pangur was a woman of action, and so she planted her legs and with one strong push— she soared over the shallowest parts, making contact with the freezing lake in a big splash, and in an instant she felt every muscle begin to seize up; still she pressed on, her northerners coat offering her some warmth against the biting cold. She swims out to him.
