A place of surprising color found within the tundra, it rests closest to the warmer areas of the region, allowing it to flourish compared to its neighboring territories in the further north. Crimson-touched and full of life, the place almost seems to blush in welcoming weary travelers through the reddened flora that give it such a vibrant look, inviting a variety of creatures to live and thrive within its rolling fields.

It didn't take long for Cyrus to find his way back to Avon. The Kingdom had taken in his pack while the times were tough and the waters were still bleak. It was a show of kindness that they all would not soon forget, that was to be sure. The golden wolf had finally come down after seeing Arvid, losing track of him along the way until he lost him entirely. After many days of looking for him, Cyrus came to the conclusion that he had simply vanished without a trace. There was the possibility that he had scared him off and he took off back home. But Arvid was not an easy wolf to intimidate, so that didn't sound right.
Either way, it was time to move on. Cyrus had taken some time to rest after his long trek, waking up the next day in the early morning. The sun was broken up by a few clouds, letting some shade cast over his temporary den site, a hole he had dug within one of the larger plots of land beneath the fields surrounding partially by bright red foliage. It was a pretty sight to be sure, one that he was almost reluctant to leave again. But he would stay here for now, his body stretching out but still laying within the protective darkness that was his home. His mind began to wonder what would come his way today, all the while wondering when it would be safe to go back to Elysium, if that day would ever come.
