Forever embraced by low-hanging clouds and a heavy mist in the forests below, the mountain holds an enchanted feeling - more curious than frightful. A forested vale can be found in its lower reaches while a great lake rests at its base, holding water melted from the glaciers of the mountain itself as small waterfalls and streams continually pour into its reservoir, creating an icy fog that dissipates as it touches the warm earth.

A few days had passed since Mara’s arrival to Mistveil. Not knowing where or how to start, she kept a safe distance from her new pack mates- for now. When Nyra went into labor she made sure to keep even more of a distance. She had noticed the suspicious glances and whispers. The very last thing she wanted to do was accidentally get too close to a new mother and her freshly born pups with cautious and protective wolves on guard. Merely a day after their birth. The children of the Einvald of the pack that she had just arrived in. She wasn’t going to risk getting mauled.
Mara lay down in her corner and stared silently at the moon. Mulling over how to make a name for herself. How to approach these wolves, what to do, what to do.
She was sure that maybe being distant was reason to make these wolves even more wary of her. But perhaps, the distance to introspect first was necessary.
